历史方位、社会矛盾与和谐社会的构建

构建和谐社会的提出是中国共产党对中国社会发展的历史方位和社会矛盾深刻认识的结果。社会主义初级阶段和小康社会是构建和谐社会的历史方位和出发点。构建和谐社会要直面解决社会主要矛盾和突出矛盾，和谐社会的内涵必须与小康社会和我国达到中等发达国家水平相适应，在社会主义初级阶段构建和谐社会要分二步走。

Relation between Historical Location, Social Contradiction and Harmonious Society

The advancement of building a harmonious society is a result of CCPS when it knows clearly the historical location of social development and social contradiction in China. The construction of a harmonious society is based on two ideas, the primary phase of socialism and a well-off society and it has to face and settle the main and prominent contradiction. And the content of harmonious society must match with the demands of a well-off society and the level of moderately developed country. Moreover, its building must be separated into two steps in the context of primary phase of socialism.
