| Abstract: | The military service in Cao Wei was mainly performed by specific families called military households. Soldiers and their families were on the army roll. And soldiers were full-time ones in their whole life and their sons and brothers had to be soldiers hereditarily. The widows of soldiers were arranged by the governnent to get married to soldiers and their daughters were obliged to get married to soldiers. If soldiers escaped, their families would te punished. |
