| Abstract: | The architecture of a CIMS/MIS-oriented integrated development platform based on the analysis and abstraction of the principal characteristics of CIMS/MIS is Presented. Guided by systems engineering ibology. the architecture uses object-oriented tednology. rapid prototyping and fourth generation languages. The architectureovercomes problems in CIMS/MIS developeect, such as low efficiency. long development time, unability to adapt torequirernent changes. maintenance difficulties. etc. to develop a rapid. integrated. open CIMS/MIS developmentplatform. This paper also brieny discusses implementation of this rapid application development and nitegration support system. which can be used as an integrated MIS development platform for various kinds of offices and enterprisies. espeially those employing CIMS. |
