| Abstract: | The three dimensional perfectly matched layer for the absorption of electromagnetic waves is presented.The numerical experiment with radiating dipole is shown to illustrate the efficiency of this new method of free space simulation.It is shown that,as the 2D case, the 3D PML is very efficient in solving unbounded electromagnetic problems with the finite difference time domain(FDTD)method. |
