| Abstract: | The minimum potential energy method(MPE) in stability analysis of slope is based on the principle that the equilibrium system potential energy should be the minimum.A small displacement can be obtained and the normal stress distribution along the sliding surface can be achieved.For uniform slope,the safety factor can be got directly with the consideration of equilibrium conditions and the Mol-Coloumb intensity rule.The result of test demonstrates the validity of this method.The error between these two kinds... |
