| Abstract: | Through the analysis of twin common gear characteristics in shifting system of machine tools, new calculation formula and determining method of the number of gear teeth are established. A lot of determination schemes of the number of gear teeth can be obtained quickly with this method so that a basis for schemes comparison and optimum design is established. |
