| Abstract: | The mechanism and characteristics of axial drifting of a cylinder on welding turning rolls are further investigated. The merits and shortcomings of three mechanical adjusting manners (elevatory, translatory and deflective) are compared with each other in detail and it is proposed that the manufacturing and installation errors of the roll should be determined in terms of the relationship between the error and the adjustment . |
