| Abstract: | A new method for determining the dynamic gas force on the moving element of a reciprocating compressor valve has been developed. The ne-thod is based on the measurements of the acceleration of the valve plate in an operating reciprocating compressor by an accelerometer. In this pa-per, the tested valve, the experimental rig, instrumentation, and the key technique associated with the measurement are introduced. |
