东亚经济发展的文化地理学分析

INTERPRETING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE EAST ASIA FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF CULTURAL GEOGRAPHY

In this paper we have analysed the internal mechanism bring about the economic development of East Asia from the viewpoint of cultural geography. We hold that the migration of Chinese cultural centre both from north to south and from inlaid to coast land affords a historical opportunity for the economic development of the eastern coast land in China. Dissemination of Chinese traditional culture to East Asia laid a cultural foundation of its economic devclopment; and formed the new pattern of economic-cultural geography in East Asia. The migration of world cultural centre to the Asia-Pacific Area in the 21 century will further promote the economic development of East Asia.and led it to a period of great prosperity.
