| Abstract: | The paper aims at how to improve college students＂ English reading abilities. First, it analyzes the factors of hindering the improvement of college students＂ reading abilities. Then, according to these factors, it gives solutions to getting rid of obsta- cles in English reading, such as emphasizing on the cultural background knowledge and mastering reading skills. Also, it puts forward some effective activities in English class. |
