摘    要:外语教学法是研究、教授和学习外语规律的科学。本文选取不同历史发展阶段影响较大的两种外语教学方法“语法翻译法”和“交际法”做对比,介绍了两种教学法产生的理论根源,各自的特点以及对我们的启示。目的在于提高对教学法理论的认识和加强对教学实践的指导,以便在外语教学过程中,能够扬长避短,提高外语教学质量。

Abstract:Foreign language teaching method is a science which does research, teaching and learning on the rules of the foreign language. This article chooses and compares two foreign language teaching methods: grammar-translation method and communicative approach which are very influential in their own ages, introduces the root theories of the two teaching language methods ,their features and their enlightments .The purpose is to improve the cognition of the teaching method theories and enhance the guide to the teaching practice, then during the foreign language teaching process, we can make use of the advantages and bypass the disadvantages to improve the quality of the foreign language teaching.
