数字集群TETRA系统中的直通模式(DMO)是指两个或两个以上移动台之间直接通信,不经过经过基站和网络转发1]。DMO模式的通信范围既可以是在网络覆盖的区域内,也可以是网络覆盖无法达到的区域,因而DMO模式是对原有系统通信的有效扩充。除基本直通模式以外,DMO模式包含转发器方式。该方式下移动台之间通过直通转发器进行通信,所以转发器方式相对于基本直通模式,提供了在更远距离上进行直接通信的能力。本文介绍了DMO模式下的转发器工作方式,并对其呼叫过程进行了详细的分析。

The call procedures of TETRA DMO using a DM-REP

TETRA DMO is the operation mode that offers the possibility of direct communication between MSs without the forwarding of upper network. The communication can be carried out not only in areas where there may be TMO coverage, but also in areas where there may be no TMO coverage. So we can deem DMO is an effective extension of the original communication system. Specific variants of the basic TETRA DMO protocol can support communication via DM repeaters. TETRA DMO using a DM repeater (DM-REP) offers the possibility to support DM communications over an enhanced coverage area from that typically achieved in direct MS-MS operation. This paper introduces the operation mode of TETRA DMO using a DM-REP, and gives a deep analysis of the call procedures.
