试论五四时期的民间教育社团

五四运动是中国新民主主义革命的开端,随着十月革命的发生和马克思主义的传播,民主和科学的思想传入中国,在中国的文化教育界引起了广泛的变革,民间一些具有爱国思想和民主意识的知识分子以教育救国为己任,纷纷集会结社,宣传各自的主张,从而掀起了中国民间教育社团史上第一个高潮。

Research on the Non-governmental Education Groups during the May 4th Period

The new-democratic revolution in China began with the May 4th Movement of 1919.With the occurring of the October Revolution and the propaganda of Marxism,democracy and science were spread into China,which led to a wide transformation in culture and education circles.Some intellectuals,who were so patriotic and had been influenced by such democratic awareness,made saving the nation as their mission.They set up education groups and disseminated their propositions one by one.Because of this,the first new tide of non-governmental education groups in history was coming.
