| Abstract: | Eco-ethics is a new discipline that rises against the academic background of the ecological culture. The paper aims at an eco-ethical interpretation of the animal-anthropomorphical novel Red Jackal by Li Chuanfeng, a Tujia-ethnic writer, by exploring and digging up in the novel the eco-ethical appeal to respecting the lives of species and calling for a harmonious coexistence of man and nature. |
