学生主体论及其在英语专业阅读课教学中的实践

摘    要:学生是学习和自我发展的主体,这是现代教育理论的一个核心观点。在英语专业阅读课的教学中,我们以这一理念为指导,进行了教学改革和教学实验的探讨。具体地讲,在教学中打破了以教师讲授为主的传统教学模式,在教学准备、课堂讲授、课堂讨论、交流汇报和课堂小结等教学环节中贯穿了以学生为主体的思想。现在这项教改实验取得了初步成果:激发了学生的学习兴趣,提高了他们学习的积极性和主动性;培养了学生的阅读能力、自学能力、语言表达能力等;促进了教师自身素质的提高。

Abstract:Students are the initiator of study and self improvement, as is a core point of view in modern educational theories. With this viewpoint as a guiding principle, we have explored a reform approach to teaching Reading course to English majors. That is, we break away from the conventional teacher - centered mode and adopt the student -centered mode that manifests itself in lessons preparation, classroom instructions and group discussions, presentations and exchange, and finally summing up by the teacher. Now the mode has yielded results: students' interest stimulated, initiative spirit largely encouraged. As a consequence, students' reading comprehension, ability to study by themselves, and verbal capacity have been fostered. The teacher' s classroom performance has also been remarkably improved.
