数字化LED光源控制器设计

摘    要:为了提高机器视觉中照明系统的质量,获得优质稳定的图像,设计了一种基于USB通信协议的LED光源控制器.该控制器采用基于ARM Cortex - M3内核的STM32F107作为微控制器,应用PWM调光技术以避免模拟调光中的色偏现象,并实现了普通、频闪、外部触发三种照明模式.在机器视觉检测系统的应用表明该控制器不但能够降低成本,而且能够实现PWM数字化精确调光,改善所提取图像质量.

Abstract:In order to improve the quality of lighting system in Machine Vision and obtain stable image, the LED lighting controller based on USB protocol has been designed. The lighting controller uses the STM32F107 as microcontroller which is based on ARM Cortex-M3 core. PWM Dimming technology is applied in order to avoid the phenomenon of color cast in analog dimming. Three lighting modes have been designed, including Normal mode, Strobe mode and Trigger mode. The application in Machine Vision shows that it could not only reduces the cost but also dims accurately and improves the quality of the image.
