| Abstract: | Edge detection is a basal and important task in computer vision and image processing. The technologies of edge detection and contour tracing are summariged and some useful methods and arithmefics are, concluded. Several methods for further processing according to the result of the edge detection: edge connection and contour tracing for the last edge imag are also put forward. |
