月球极区冻土模拟月壤钻进试验研究

摘    要:月球极区已经发现水资源存在的证据,极区水资源的探测、采集与利用技术日益成为世界各国研究的热点。冻土是月球极区水资源存在的重要形式,对极区冻土实施采样返回作业是未来深空探测的重要任务内容。为满足未来冻土采样任务需求,在中国首次开展了冻土模拟月壤采样技术试验研究。基于探月三期模拟月壤制备基础,结合国内外极区冻土类月壤含水量探测与分析信息调研,进行不同含水量的冻土模拟月壤制备,开展钻取试验,初步总结冻土类模拟月壤钻进特性。通过试验得出结论,相较于高密实度的无水模拟月壤,冻土类月壤黏度更大,所需钻进力载更大,钻进过程排粉状态明显不同,需采用的钻进策略也有显著差别,样品形态因含水量不同呈现块状散体或柱状。试验获得了冻土模拟月壤钻进特性第一手资料,可支持后续冻土月壤采样技术深入研究。

Abstract:Evidence for the existence of water resources has been found at Lunar polar regions. The technology of detection, collection and utilization of polar water resources has increasingly become a research hotspot in the world. Icy soil is an important form of water resources in the polar regions of the moon. Sampling and returning operations of icy Lunar soil is an crucial task of deep space exploration in the future. In order to meet the needs of future icy Lunar soil sampling tasks, the research of sampling technology of simulated icy lunar soil was carried out, which is the first time in China. Based on the foundation of the preparation technique of simulated lunar soil of China Lunar exploration project, combined with the survey and analysis information of water content of icy soil at lunar polar regions, the simulated icy lunar soil with different water capacities was implemented;the tentative drilling experiments were attempted; and the drilling characteristics of simulatedicy lunar soil were preliminarily summarized. It concludes that the viscosity of simulated icy soil is larger than that of the high density simulated lunar soil without water; and the required drilling force is stronger; and there are disparities between the drilling process and the drilling strategy. In addition,due to different water containing capacities, the samples may present various shapes such as bulk or column.This experiment procure the first hand data, which shows the drilling characteristics of simulated icy lunar soil, and the findings can apply to further research on the sampling technology of icy soil at Lunar polar region.
