| Abstract: | Grid computing is an important new technology. Database system is needed for managing the large amounts of data on the grid. In addition to introducing the work relevant to database system on the grid, topics are discussed in grid database which include grid DBMS, grid database integration, and new requirements of grid applications. The database researchers are recommended to do more research on grid database by finding and resolving the new problems caused by grid applications. |
