| Abstract: | This paper compares the conventional design process with the reverse design process.Then technologies of making reverse engineering effective are discussed,mainly including 3D coordinate measuremear,data process,model reconstruction,and model evaluation.Moreover the application of reverse engineering to die industry is analyzed,and an example is given to describe the process of reverse engineering on the die design and manufacture. |
