锰对作业工人子女智力的影响

为探讨锰对作业工人子女智力的影响，用韦氏儿童智力量表(C-WISC)、韦氏幼儿智力量表(C-WYCSI)对出生前至调查时父亲或母亲从事接触锰职业的儿童和幼儿进行智力测定。结果发现，儿童部分的母亲的职业接触锰，其子女智商低于对照组和父亲职业接锰组，儿童和幼儿中父亲职业接锰组，其子女智商与对照组的差异均没有显著性。表明母亲职业接触锰，可能会对其子女的智力有不良影响。

Effect of Parents' Occupational Exposure to Mn on the Intelligence of Descendents

To study the effect of parents' occupational exposure to manganese(Mn) on the intelligence of their descendents, the China-Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children(C-WISC) or the China-Wechsler Young Children Scale of Intelligence(C-WYCSI) are used to evaluate the intelligence quotient(IQ) of the children whose father or mother is exposed to Mn before they were born. The results show that the average IQ of the children whose mother has been exposed to Mn is lower than that in the control group and father-exposed group. There is no significant difference in IQ between the children or younger childen whose father is exposed to Mn and the control group. It is concluded that occupational exposure to Mn in mother might have certain adverse effects on the intelligence of their descendents.
