| Abstract: | Yu Qian, a patriot,played an important role both in the Ming Dynasty and the history of Hangzhou.From the great background of the combination between the Chinese traditional culture and the late feudal society,through people's various behaviors in the Battle of Beijing Defendance and Nangong Restoration, the paper compares the relationships on Justice and Evil, Loyality and Craft, Characters and stories, Nation and household,Majesty and Populace, etc. And it gives a moral comment on Yu Qian's tragic destiny and his political determination. He viewed the national interests as the top standard, devoting himslef, preserving the national benefit among the kingdom, country and his own. Not to be concerned for personal gains and losses, YuQian made a perfect conclusion for Chinese history and the generations with his whole life and full enthusiasm in his work. |
