| Abstract: | This paper reports the results of the measurements of turbulent flow field in the bathtub combustion chamber in a motored single cylinder gasoline engine by using hot-wire anemometry. The measured mean velocity, turbulence intensity, scales and power spectrum, and their variations during the engine cycle are presented. |
