| Abstract: | Let AG(n , Fq)be an n-dimerensional affine space. In the present paper, the number of flats which are parallel to, and skew to a fixed flat, respectively, are computed. Furthermore, some authentication codes are constructed using the flats in AG (n , Fq). |
