| Abstract: | Based on the integration of case reasoning method and XML technology, a prototype system named CBRDT used for the conceptual design of virtual prototype of complex products was developed. Two key techniques in the system were discussed: knowledge representation by XML, a case retrieval model based on the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm and Induction. |
