| Abstract: | The general equation for a sensitivity analysis of the nonlinear structural dynamic response is derived from the equation of nonlinear structural dynamic response. As it is of the same form as the equation for the linear structural dynamic response, both the iteration and Laplace transform methods are used to find the solution. The correctness and usefulness of the solving method are verified by a worked example. |
