摘    要:提出了曲面直接插补算法(SDI)和基于SDI的新型CNC系统.具有三维连续轨迹和刀具补偿功能,可对粗精加工余量补偿和自动行距调节,实现高速高精度加工.其输入信息仅为曲面定义和边界条件,使用类APT的高级语言,极大简化CAM编程和加工信息,使曲面精加工既经济又高效.

Abstract:Large numbers of NC codes are needed for surface machining by the traditional method. It is very expensive and time-consuming. A real-time algorithm for surface direct interpolation (SDI) has been developed to enable CNC technique to be used directly to machine quadric and parameter bicubic surfaces. In such a case, a continuous tool path is produced and 3-D tool and stock are compensated with line stepover controlled in real-time. The minimum NC step is used to approach the tool path at high speed, so a maximum accuracy can be achieved. The input information is only the surface geometry and boundary definition. A high-level language similar to APT is used so that CAM programming and NC code are greatly simplified, making surface finishing cheaper and more efficient. The principle of SDI and the new CNC system on a 16 bit STD industrial computer are described.
