摘    要:针对红外图像的特点,提出了一种自适应局部分形块编码方法,该方法利用图像块灰度相关性,将值域块与定义域块的匹配限制在以值域块的均值和方差为中心的动态窗口中,动态窗口的长和宽,根据定义域块均值和方差的二维直方图自适应地确定、实验结果表明,所提方法不但大大缩短了编码时间,压缩比也有较大幅度的提高。

Abstract:A method for fractal coding for infrared image based on adaptive matching is presented. By using the correlation between image blocks, this method limits the matching between the range blocks and domain blocks to be on the dynamic windows centered at the mean of the standard deviation of the range blocks. The length of the windows and their width are adaptively adjusted by the planar histograms of the range blocks. By comparison with the conventional methods the experiments show that the approach can not only reduce the computation cost greatly but also increase the compression ratio efficiently.
