| Abstract: | An algorithm named Minimum Cross-Entropy(MCE)for image recon-struction is presented here.Though the principle of maximum entropy has beenapplied to image reconstruction sucessfully,the application of the principle ofminimum cross-entropy to image reconstruction has not appeared in literature sofar.The formulae and flow chart for MCE algorithm are also included.Computersimulations demonstrate that the performance of MCE algorithm is superior to thatof MENT |
