| Abstract: | This paper introduces a calculating method for the power needed by dynamic positioning system of FPSO.The estimation of the environmental forces,including wind,wave and current force,and the determination of the power distribution among propellers are discussed.A numerical example about a reequipped tanker is presented in the paper. |
