图书索书号粘连字符的切分

摘    要:分析了图书索书号字符串经过二值化后,字符及其笔划发生变形和粘连的主要原因.提出了利用字符上下轮廓的凹凸特征检测字符的近似宽度.在字符宽度的约束条件下,根据轮廓凹凸特征形成切分路径,并依据切分处笔划宽度特征对切分后的变形笔划进行修复.通过50本图书索书号的粘连字符切分实验,证明了该方法的有效性.

Abstract:This paper analyzed the main cause of the stroke deformation and character touching when performing binarization process of call number image. An algorithm was presented to approximately measure the character width using the concave and convex of string profiles. And with the width constraining, partitioning paths can be constructed based on the profile feature and repair the deformation stroke. Finally, the method was tested with 50 books call numbers, which shows its effectiveness.
