| Abstract: | A modified probing algorithm of BP learning-rate for the multi-layer feed-forward neural network is presented. Using this algorithm, not only is the speed of BP learning significantly improved, but also the Probability of the network to cave in the local-minimum of square-error is decreased. The conclusion is demonstrated by the results of simulated experiments. |
