Abstract:The research advance in mechanism of plant tolerance to low phosphorus and the status quo of plant tolerance to low phosphorus are summarized.The breeding strategies are discussed to improve the efficiency of plants' using phosphorus which is difficult to be solved in the soil in the aspects of regular breeding and gene breeding engineering technique respectively.
