| Abstract: | By the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the polysyllabic words in A Reply to Ren An,classification and illustration of them according to word formation,comparison of the polysyllabic words in Pre-Qing Period,the paper discusses the development of polysyllabic words in Han Dynasty and observes the process of how words become polysyllabic. |
