LAMOST光纤定位技术

摘    要:对于在建的大天区面积多目标光纤光谱天文望远镜(large sky area multi-object fiber spectroscopy telescope,LAMOST)而言,如何在直径为1.75 m的球冠形焦面板上将4 000根光纤快速定位,实现同时观测4 000个天体目标,是其两大关键技术问题之一.本文介绍了由中国科学技术大学提出的分区并行可控光纤定位技术的总体设计思想,以及在研制过程中解决的技术问题;讨论了亟待解决的光纤定位的位置测量问题.安装后的LAMOST焦面光纤定位小系统在兴隆现场已完成了与其他系统的联调,成功地批量获得了天体光谱.

Abstract:The constructing LAMOST(large sky area multi-object fiber spectroscopy telescope) will observe 4 000 celestial objects at the same time.But one of the two key technologies which should be resolved is how to position the 4 000 optical fiber units rapidly on the convex focal plane(with the diameter of 1.75 m).The whole design ideas of the region parallel controllable optical fiber positioning system,which is invented by USTC LAMOST subsystem group,are introduced.Then the scheme for the difficulty of the technical key points in the researching process and the unresolved problem for the location measurement of the fiber positioning are discussed.The acceptance LAMOST focal plane optical fiber positioning minor system have already installed on the Xinglong Station of National Astronomical Observatory and debugged with other subsystems of LAMOST.Recently,LAMOST have successfully collected many celestial spectra.
