| Abstract: | An axicon and a spherical lens are combined to form an annular focusing system. This system produces a ring-shaped pattern when it is illuminated by a Gaussian beam. In this peper,using a new mathematical technique, We give an explicit expression of far-field amplitude distribution. The computerized calculations are carried out to give detailed explanation. |
