刀翼式PDC钻头的侧向力平衡设计

摘    要:聚晶金刚石(PDC)钻头的侧向不平衡力是造成钻头涡动的主要原因之一,而侧向不平衡力取决于钻头的布齿结构,通过合理的布齿结构设计,可有效地控制侧向不平衡力的大小。在对PDC钻头进行受力分析的基础上,建立了PDC钻头受力计算模型,提出了通过调整刀翼周向位置使钻头的侧向不平衡力达到最小的优化设计方法。利用该方法进行了实例计算,结果表明,该设计方法能将PDC钻头的侧向不平衡力控制在钻压的1%以内。

Abstract:The lateral imbalance force on a polycrystalline diamond compact(PDC) bit is one of the important causes to lead severe bit whirl, which is associated closely with cutting structure on a bit. The lateral force can be controlled effectually by designing properly a bit's cutting structure. Based on the force analysis, models for calculating cutter forces and the forces on a PDC bit were established. A method optimizing a bit's cutting structure to minimize the lateral imbalance force was developed. By the method, the lateral imbalance force less than one percent of the weight on bit can be achieved.
