| Abstract: | A strain of actinimycete,designated as ZS110,was isolated from marine sediment from the South China Sea.The strain ZS110 was characterized morphologically and physiologically.One antibiotic and five cyclopeptides were separated from the fermentation broth of the isolate ZS110.Some factors for the growth of the strain and the formation of bioative substance were investigated.The antibiotic substance exhibited inhibitory activity against the growth of all Gram positive indicator bacteria. |
