红树植物之诠释

探讨了红树和红树林的科学术语和定义以及红树植物的概念 ,认为mangrove一词应专指红树 ,不宜泛指红树和红树林。红树林应采用mangroveforest或mangal,mangal在国际上已被普遍采用 ,国内亦应认同和采用 ,以利于国际交流。红树林的简明定义是“生长在热带亚热带海岸潮间带 ,受海水周期性浸淹的木本群落”。而红树植物是生长在热带亚热带受潮汐影响的生境 ,具有特化的形态和生理机制的木本植物。把专一性生长于红树林生境的草本和附生、寄生、藤本等植物命名为“同生植物”而有别于红树植物和伴生植物。

Annotation of Mangrove Plant

This paper discussed that the technical terms and definition of m angrove and mangal, as well as the conception of mangrove plant. The word "mang rove" has been used to refer either to the constituent plant of tropical and sub tropical intertidal community or to the community itself, but this usage is maki ng more confusion. So "mangal" as a term for the community, leaving "mangrove" in the more limited sense for the constituent plant species was proposed by Mac Nae (1968) and universally accepted, now we should adopted. This suggestions man grove has been defined as tropical and subtropical trees restricted to intertida l zones, they possess some morphological specializion and physiological mechanis m for adapting to their environment. Mangal is a community that is defined as tr opical and subtropical forest, restricted to intertidal zones, they periodicity inundeated by the tides. Suggested the new term of "consortive plant" for the h erbs, climbers, epiphytes and parasites which were only restrited in the strict mangrove habitat.
