| Abstract: | The novel concept of the biological intellectual switch is introduced. The mechanism and characteristics on the photoisomerization of biological switch materials are described. The progress and the development in this field are discussed, including applications of reversibly photoisomerized biomaterials in optical memory, electrochemical control, biosensors and other fields. The future prospect for the intellectual biological switches is presented. |
