Stent Treatment Effect and Safety of Transplant Renal Artery Stenosis

Objective To explore the stent treatment effect and safety of transplant renal artery stenosis.Method A female patient with renal insufficiency had underwent renal transplantation with end-to-end anastomosis of the transplant renal artery with the distal of inter iliac artery 2 years ago.The transplanted kidney had been fixed in the right iliac fossa.The patients with transplant renal artery stenosis accounted for 80% after two years operation and the stenosis length was about 15mm.Due to this,they received the stent implanting treatment of transplant renal artery stenosis.The pathway was through the left,femoral artery with a right coronary arteries Judkin guiding catheter.The coronary bare-metal stents（R-stent 4.0 mm×18 mm） was implanted by 18atm × 20sec stent-release.Results The expansion of the stent was good.The renal artery stenosis was relieved.There was no residual lesion,the blood flow of TIMI was class 3 and a stable postoperative blood pressure appeared.Conclusion It is effective and safe that transplant renal artery stenosis is treated with the stent implanting therapy.
