Research on the Tourist Value of the Ancient Shu Road

The Ancient Shu Road was an important channel of politics, economy and culture exchange between the Shu and Qing Kingdoms in ancient times. It was also a linkage channel between the southwest and the central China. It played an important role in the communication of economy and culture between the above areas. The tourist resources are rich along this road. The culhure is deep and thick. And its tourist values are tremendous, especial the Three Kingdom culture tourist values, religious tourist values, food culture tourist values, military tourist val- ues, scientific exploration tourist values and ecological tourist values. But the tourist values have not been fully explored and the tourist industry along the road develops slowly. To research the tourist values will deeply promote the swift tourist economical development in this area.
