山东省保险发展与经济增长的因果分析

保险业属于金融业的一部分,对经济发展起到风险补偿、降低生产的不确定性、提高劳动者素质等作用。近几年来,关于金融发展与经济增长关系研究方面的文献很多,但是大多主要集中于讨论关于银行业与经济增长的关系,而对保险业与经济增长关系的研究相对较少。通过对山东省1991-2008年保费收入与山东省GDP这两个变量进行协整分析和因果检验,可以看出,山东省保险发展与经济增长是协整且互为双向的格兰杰因果关系。

An Analysis between the Development of Insurance and Economic Growth in Shandong Province

The insurance industry belongs to the finance industry which can compensate for risk to the economy,reduces the uncertainty of production the determinism,enhance the quality of workers.In recent years,there are lots of thesis discussing the relationship between the financial development and the economical growth,but the majority literature mainly concentrates on the discussion about the banking industry and the economical growth relations,the research on the relationship between the economical growth and the insurance industry is relative less.This article uses two variables——insurance premium income and the Shandong Province GDP from 1991-2004 to conduct Granger test and co integration test.The conclusion is that the insurance development and economical growth is co-integrated and mutual for the Granger casual relationship.
