农村中小学教师开展心理健康教育主要存在自身心理素质差，缺乏心理健康教育意识。心理健康教育知识、技能和能力薄弱，普遍缺少心理健康教育的系统培训等问题。加强农村中小学心理健康教育必须提高教师的心理健康素质，对教师进行系统的心理健康教育培训，提高教师心理健康教育的专业化水平，创设有利于农村心理健康教育开展的宽松环境。
