从美国英语中的“女性语体”探析两性语言的强弱模式

人类社会由男性和女性共同组成,男女两性语言差异存在于不同文化之中。语言作为社会的一面镜子反映人们所处的时代、社会心理和社会意识,是现实生活最真实的反映。女性被视为弱势群体在语言使用中的例子比比皆是。本文从社会语言学角度分析美国英语中"女性语体"的主要特征及其形成原因,揭示和解释一些语言现象,并从语言的角度分析传统社会中女性的形象,以及两性语言的强弱模式。

On Women＇s Inferiority Reflected in American English Female Language

Our society is made up of men and women,and male-female language difference is universal across cultures.Language as a mirror of a society reflects its culture.Women are often regarded as the weaker ones can be found in the use of language.This paper deals with some characteristics of women＇s speech in American English and from the perspective of social factors it discusses why men and women talk differently, focusing on how socialization process affects both females and males in language use,showing the traditional women＇s inferior subordinate social status through analyzing the use of language.
