摘    要:着眼于改善纤維强化复合材料的性能,AVCO碳化硅(SCS-6)纤维已经成为最有竟争力和性能最优异的结构材料之一。本文研究了纤维的室温拉伸强度和夹头跨度间的关系,纤维力学性能和热暴露温度和时间的关系。本研究结果无疑将有助于复合材材的设计和发展。

Abstract:In view of improving the properties of reinforced composite structure,the AVCO SiC(SCS-6)monofilament has been one of the most challenging and high performances fibers of high temperature structure materials.The fibers are chara- cterized by the fact that their room temperature tensile strength serves as a function of gage length and their thermal degradation is relatcd to exposure temperature and exposure time.The present results would be of benefit to the design and development of composites by providing a range of the fiber thermal and mechanical response in air and argon atmospheres.
