| Abstract: | This paper describes a new type of long-stroke displacement transducer based on magnetostrictive effect. The features of the transducer are excellent linearity,high sensitivity,compact construction and fixation. Its operation principle and application to rall stroke measurement system for 850mm hot- rolling mill are also discussed. |
