| Abstract: | Post-modernist trend came into China in the 1980s and plays a great influence on Chinese society.This paper discusses the influence of Western postmodernism on Chinese Contemporary literature from three perspectives: secularization of Chinese Contemporary,unconventionality in literature and lessening of centralism,and the emphasis on the life experience of individual.The paper also points out the positive side of the influence as well as the negative. |
