东方化与西方化——梁漱溟、胡适文化观述评

在近代中国的思潮中，只有文化问题才是近代中国所发生的一切问题的首要问题。梁漱溟的文化观独树一帜，中国文化的出路问题上他提出三路向说，并以“意欲”作为三路向说的核心观点，而同时胡适提出文化惰性论直接批判传统文化主张全盘西化。本文意在探讨二者在文化观上的差异，从而对中西文明冲突做出阐释。

Orientalization and Westernization --The Commentary of cultural Outlooks of Liang Shu-ming and Hu Shi

In the trends of thought in mordem china, culture plays the most important role in all the problems of modem China. Liang Shu-ming＇s cultural outlook had developed a school of its own. He had pointed out that there were three approaches to solve Chinese cultural problems and regarded yiyu （intention） as the key word of his proposal. Meanwhile, Hu Shi,who put forward the Thoery of Culture Inertness, criticized Chinese traditional culture and advocated ＂wholesale westernization＂ .This thesis compares two outlooks and explains the civilization conflict between China and the West.
