| 摘 要： | 奈达的功能对等理论以“相似反应”为前提寻求原文与译文的最切近、自然的对等，为传统翻译理论“直译”与“意译”的争论找到了满意答案。以功能对等理论为指导的旅游资料英译方法有增译法、删减法、改写法、转译法。

| Abstract: | Nada＇s functional equivalence theory endeavors to produce in the receptor language the closest natural equivalent to the message of the source language under the premise of ＂similar response＂, thus finding a satisfactory answer to the long-time argument about ＂literal translation＂ and ＂free translation＂. In accordance with Nida＇s functional equivalence theory, strategies like addition, deletion,, adaptation, and analogy can be applied to the Chinese-English translation of tourist documents. |
